Casting for customers
Using supplied resin, supplied 3d file, supplied design, or carved wax Above top left is a supplied green resin of a pear shape ring which was cast using the supplied gold. Cost £35 Next we have four yellow cars printed from a supplied 3d file and cast using supplied gold. Cost £45+£55. After that we have a tree of life design which was printed and cast with supplied silver,then finally finished. Cost £55+£30. Last but not least is a suppllied green hand carved wax of a signet ring, which was cast using supplied gold and then filed and emery finished. Cost £35+£15.
Cluster Ring
18ct yellow and white gold with sapphire and diamonds supplied by the customer The above is an example of how the newer technology helps. The small amount of 18ct white gold and yellow gold were perfect for designing the cluster ring in two parts in a 3d design program. An image was sent for verification then 3d print the parts, cast seperatly, filed and cleaned up. Solder together and set the stones, send the ring with left over gold back to happy customer! And the cost from £130.

Simon trained as a diamond mounter, completing a goldsmith apprenticeship. In the 30 years working in the trade has worked for county style jewellers and workshops. As a working goldsmith he has been offering his skills from classic diamond mounting, silversmithing & wax carving to 3d design,3d printing, 3d scanning to create loved jewellery from inherited or damaged pieces both by hand & modern techniques. Goldsmithing and jewellery are one of the oldest forms of recycling! Of course with such a precious metal and gems it would only be natural that pieces would be made bolder, re-inspired with new creativity or simply remade for a loved one. What Simon offers to the trade is a price guide for using supplied metal to remake it into new jewellery! A guide which covers the the design and making of a single stone ring to a shaped bangle with reasonable pricing! Lets not forget you may have your own 3d design and your or customers metal and simply need it printed and cast! See the procees below for price indications.
